Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is assisting a growing financial services organisation in Dublin. They seek a Finance Manager to oversee the finance function, manage a team, and own a wide range of reporting, regulatory, and operational duties.

The role reports to the Head of Finance and focuses on delivering monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and regulatory returns, while driving process improvements and stakeholder engagement across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to CBI Client Asset Regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a methodical approach.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet demanding reporting deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using AI or technology to improve processes and efficiencies would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the finance team.
• Own the preparation of monthly management accounts and lead balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee client asset regulatory controls, including daily client money calculations and bank reconciliations.
• Manage finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Prepare Central Bank regulatory returns and support ongoing compliance requirements.
• Act as the key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Maintain finance policies and procedures and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Support wider group finance activities and ad hoc projects.
• Support the Head of Finance and leadership team with commercial opportunities

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a growing financial services organisation based in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in overseeing the Finance function, leading a team and taking ownership of a broad range of financial reporting, regulatory and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Experience
