Job summary

An international financial services firm in Dublin is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant. The role targets ACA-qualified accountants with 3-5 years' PQE and offers exposure across financial accounting, investment activity, management reporting and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will contribute to process development, automation initiatives and uphold high standards of accuracy while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 3-5 years' PQE in financial services.
• Experience with investment products and/or trading activity desirable.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting (MiFID investment firm) advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse daily, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting with variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and wider financial analysis.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting requirements for the Central Bank of Ireland (FINREP and own funds).
• Assist with development and enhancement of accounting processes, controls and reporting infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Support wider finance projects and ad hoc analysis as required.

On behalf of an international financial services firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experinced ACA qualified accountant to take on a broad role within a sophisticated financial services environment. The position will have exposure across financial accounting, investment activity, management reporting and regulatory requirements, while also offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of new systems, processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse daily, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting, including variance and attribution analysis.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working with investment products and/or trading activity is highly desirable.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting within a MiFID investment firm environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions.
