Job summary

Alliedtalent is partnering with a Dublin-based asset-backed business reshaping its finance function to hire a Finance Manager. You will take ownership of financial control and reporting, working closely with the CFO and SLT to strengthen systems, controls and processes.

This hands-on role blends FP&A with a controls-focused environment, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and oversight of outsourced reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Experience reshaping or building out a finance function.
• Strong FP&A skills including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Capacity to manage multiple stakeholders and oversee outsourced reporting.

Job description

On behalf of a growing, asset-backed business based in Dublin, who are currently reshaping and professionalising its finance function, we are looking to hire a Finance Manager.

This is a hands-on Finance Manager role with genuine ownership and real scope to build. You will take over financial control and reporting responsibilities from the business’s current commercial lead, working closely with senior leadership to enhance systems, controls and procedures across the function.

The role blends FP&A with a structured, controls-focused environment. Financial packs are currently prepared by outsourced providers and reviewed internally, and you will play a central role in strengthening and refining this process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of financial control and reporting from the business's current commercial lead.
• Review, tighten and enhance financial packs, procedures and controls across the business.
• Partner with senior leadership on detailed FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Oversee outsourced financial reporting, including managing a growing team.
• Provide FP&A support across the business's service operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and getting into the detail of FP&A.
• A track record of reshaping or building out a finance function, not just running one.
• Someone motivated by ownership, process and structure, with the appetite to drive real change.
