Job description

Our client, a leading organisation based in Cork, is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an ACCA-qualified professional with at least 5 years of management experience in finance and accounting. As the Corporate Finance Manager, you will take ownership of overseeing financial operations, leading and developing a team, and playing a central role in shaping strategic decision‑making across the business. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Manager to drive financial accuracy, efficiency, and sustainable growth within a dynamic organisation. This is a key strategic role, responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and corporate transactions to support business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage corporate finance projects including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and investments, while overseeing due diligence and liaising with external advisors.
  • Develop financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision‑making and advise senior leadership on capital structure, funding, and risk management.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports and board papers, while monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting corporate finance.
  • Support financial planning and team development, including budgeting, forecasting, long‑term strategy, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) with strong technical finance knowledge.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or transaction services.
  • Proven track record in financial modelling, valuations, and deal execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
