About the Opportunity

We are working exclusively with a leading manufacturer of domestic and commercial appliances who are looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Technician to join their growing service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified or electrically experienced technician who enjoys working hands-on, solving technical problems, and providing a high standard of service to customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault-finding, repair and maintenance of a range of domestic and commercial appliances across customer sites.

The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair appliance faults.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Commission and service domestic and commercial appliances.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Identify replacement parts and complete repairs efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the required technical standards.
• Provide professional customer service and technical advice.

• Work closely with the technical and customer service teams to resolve issues.

About You

We are looking for a technically minded individual with a strong electrical background and practical field-service experience.

You will ideally have:

• A strong electrical/electromechanical background.
• Previous experience in field service, appliance repair, maintenance, installation or a similar technical environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• The ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Good mechanical aptitude alongside your electrical knowledge.
• A customer-focused approach and professional communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full working rights in Ireland — candidates must already have the legal right to work in Ireland.

Experience working with domestic appliances, commercial equipment, white goods, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical maintenance or similar equipment would be advantageous.
