Job summary

Morgan McKinley presents an opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician in Ireland to install, service, fault-find and repair a range of domestic and commercial appliances at customer sites. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, commission equipment, and carry out preventative maintenance with a focus on safety and high service standards.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, hands-on field service experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Technically minded with strong electrical/electromechanical background.
• Experience in field service, appliance repair, or maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair appliance faults.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Commission and service domestic and commercial appliances.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Identify replacement parts and complete repairs efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to required standards.
• Provide professional customer service and technical advice.
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation.
• Work with technical and customer service teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment and service vehicles to a high standard.
