Job summary

Vickerstock is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support its expanding customer base across the Greater Dublin area. You will install, service, and maintain premium coffee equipment, diagnosing faults and performing preventative maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work across the Greater Dublin region, responding to planned maintenance and reactive service calls with support from an engineering coordination team. Travel for training and meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or maintenance environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with commercial coffee equipment is advantageous
• Ability to manage workload across multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain commercial coffee machines and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on site and remotely.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance per service plans.
• Configure equipment to meet customer requirements.

Our client, a well-established and growing supplier within the commercial coffee industry, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support its expanding customer base across the Greater Dublin area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading business that partners with some of the most recognised cafés, hospitality venues and commercial customers throughout Ireland. You'll work with premium coffee equipment, providing installation, servicing and preventative maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be field-based, responding to planned maintenance and reactive service calls, with support from an experienced engineering coordination team. Occasional travel for training and team meetings will be required.

Your day to day

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial coffee equipment, including premium espresso machines, grinders and bean-to-cup systems.

Working across the Greater Dublin region, you will diagnose faults, complete repairs efficiently and ensure customers receive a reliable, first-class service.

• Install, service and maintain commercial coffee machines and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults both remotely and on customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with scheduled service plans.
• Configure equipment to meet customer requirements and ensure optimal performance.
• Refurbish, test and prepare equipment when required.
• Programme machines in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately record service visits, job outcomes and parts used using the company's service management system.
• Complete all associated administration accurately and on time.
• Maintain the highest standards of health and safety while working on customer premises.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving technical issues professionally and efficiently.
• Escalate and report customer concerns in line with company procedures.
• Keen to speak with engineers who have experience in a field service or maintenance environment and possess strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on commercial coffee equipment would be advantageous, although engineers from sectors such as catering equipment, vending, white goods, HVAC, water treatment, packaging, manufacturing or other electro-mechanical environments are encouraged to apply.
• You will be self-motivated, customer-focused and capable of managing your own workload while working independently across multiple customer sites.
