Job summary

Haier Smart Home UK&I Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair appliances at customers' homes in Dublin and surrounding areas. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and deliver outstanding customer service while following safety guidelines and handling heavy equipment as needed.

Candidates should have a valid driving licence and a track record of technical fault finding. Comprehensive in-house training is provided to help you succeed in a dynamic, customer-focused

Job description

Field Service Engineer €42,172 - €47,119 plus up to €5,000 Dublin Allowance depending on experience

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be working with three great brands; Candy, Hoover and Haier. Visiting our customers in their homes across Dublin and the surrounding areas, you’ll be providing technical solutions to their problems, fixing their appliances and providing a great customer experience. We’re looking for individuals who are self‑motivated, well organised and have great technical and customer service skills. Experience can be from a variety of industries including White Goods, Gas, Electricity, Telecommunications and Building Maintenance or from a similar role where technical fault finding plays a key part. Regardless of your background, our City and Guilds assured in‑house training and support has been designed to get you ready for success. You’ll need a full, valid driving licence and the ability to lift & manoeuvre heavy objects and work in restricted spaces, regularly engaging hand dexterity. Colour vision is also important to be able to distinguish between live, neutral and earth wires; offers of employment are subject to testing to ensure that candidates are able to comply with the basic health and safety requirements of the role.

Benefits:

• €42,172 per annum starting salary if you’re a Field Service Engineer who does not have White Goods/ Domestic Appliance experience.
• You’ll have the opportunity to earn €47,119 once you’re fully trained and meet the minimum requirements.
• €47,119 per annum starting salary if you have a minimum of 6 months recent White Goods Engineering experience.
• Bonus potential of up to €2,900 per annum.
