Job summary

Haier Europe seeks a Field Service Engineer to service Candy, Hoover and Haier appliances across Dublin and surrounding areas. You will visit customers in their homes to diagnose faults and repair appliances, delivering a great customer experience.

We value self-motivation, organisation and strong technical and customer service skills. A full driving licence is required; you must be able to lift heavy objects and work in restricted spaces. City and Guilds in-house training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in White Goods, Gas, Electricity, Telecommunications or Building Maintenance or similar role.
• City and Guilds in-house training and support provided.

Field Service Engineer €42,172 - €47,119 plus up to €5,000 Dublin Allowance depending on experience

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be working with three great brands; Candy, Hoover and Haier. Visiting our customers in their homes across Dublin and the surrounding areas, you’ll be providing technical solutions to their problems, fixing their appliances and providing a great customer experience.

We’re looking for individuals who are self-motivated, well organised and have great technical and customer service skills. Experience can be from a variety of industries including White Goods, Gas, Electricity, Telecommunications and Building Maintenance or from a similar role where technical fault finding plays a key part. Regardless of your background, our City and Guilds assured in-house training and support has been designed to get you ready for success.

You’ll need a full, valid driving licence and the ability to lift & manoeuvre heavy objects and work in restricted spaces, regularly engaging hand dexterity. Colour vision is also important to be able to distinguish between live, neutral and earth wires; offers of employment are subject to testing to ensure that candidates are able to comply with the basic health and safety requirements of the role.

• €42,172 per annum starting salary if you’re a Field Service Engineer who does not have White Goods/ Domestic Appliance experience.
• You’ll have the opportunity to earn €47,119 once you’re fully trained and meet the minimum requirements
• €47,119 per annum starting salary if you have a minimum of 6 months recent White Goods Engineering experience
• Bonus potential of up to €2,900 per annum
