Job summary

Anderson McQue Inc is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service pharmaceutical sites across Ireland. You will perform commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintenance, repair and validation of equipment and applications.

The role requires delivering service excellence, maintaining records, and proactively engaging with customers and colleagues. On-call rota involvement and travel within Ireland are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing pharmaceutical sites.
• Several years in field service roles.
• Represent the company professionally with customers on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete on-site service including commissioning, fault-finding, maintaining, repairing, calibrating and validating equipment and applications.
• Deliver service excellence and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records and paperwork accurately.
• Manage stock of spare parts and consumables in the vehicle and keep equipment in good order.
• Participate in On-Call Engineer Rota and travel to client sites within Ireland as required.
• Provide telephone support and communicate feedback to the Head of Industrial Field Service.

Job Function:

• Deliver ‘Excellence every day’ to customers
• Commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating and validating all Equipment and Applications within the Business Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a complete level of service to all customers on site to include, commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating and validating all equipment and applications within the Business Portfolio.
• To deliver “Service Excellence" and always ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain all records and appropriate paperwork.
• Carry and maintain an up-to-date stock of spare parts and consumables in the Company vehicle and maintain this stock and equipment in good order.
• Participate in the On-Call Engineer Rota.
• Proactively work with the Head of Industrial Field Service, communicating customer feedback, sales and training opportunities.
• Provide onsite briefings, tours, induction / training to customers and to colleagues.
• Comply with departmental changes improving operations of the Service Department.
• Provide telephone support as and when required.
• Review technical documentation and write technical reports accurately in English.
• Attend training courses when required and acquire a good working knowledge of the Company's Equipment and Applications.

Health & Safety:

• Adhere to safety and health regulations and obligations.
• Ensure that all equipment and products are left in a safe manner.
• Adhere to site rules and participate in site inductions as and when required.
• Always represent the Company professionally on site and wear the company branded clothing and personal protective equipment supplied.

Ad Hoc Duties:

• Provide coverage within the Industrial Service Team during periods of absence which may mean you having to travel to client sites within Ireland.
• Attending meetings and training events offsite which may require to be away from home overnight.
• Any other Ad Hoc duties as required.

Requirements & Core Competencies

• Experience in servicing pharmaceutical sites
• Several years' experience in field service
• Represent company in a professional manner when dealing directly with customers/visiting customers' sites
