Engineer Safety. Protect Critical Infrastructure. Build Your Future.
At OBW Technologies, we don't just maintain systems — we help some of the world's most advanced manufacturing facilities operate safely, reliably and without disruption.
We're looking for a motivated and technically capable Field Service Engineer to join our growing on-site team supporting a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in Leixlip. This is an opportunity to work within one of Ireland's most technologically advanced industrial environments, maintaining the critical Life Safety and Hazardous Process Monitoring (HPM) systems that protect people, assets, operations and the environment every day.
If you thrive on solving technical challenges, enjoy working with cutting-edge technology, and want to be part of a team that plays a vital role in protecting critical infrastructure, we'd like to hear from you.
Shift Pattern & Work-Life Balance
This role supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation and operates on a structured rotating shift pattern designed to provide both operational coverage and a strong work-life balance. Shift structure:
- 7 x 12-hour shifts every fortnight
- Day Shift: 07:00 – 19:15
- Night Shift: 19:00 – 07:15
- Employees typicaly work 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next. The majority of shifts are day shifts.
- Night shifts are incorporated into the roster and equate to approximately 7 night shifts in every 10-week cycle.
- Shift schedules are provided well in advance to support personal planning and work-life balance
- A competitive shift allowance is paid in addition to base salary.
For Engineers seeking the benefits of shift work without spending large portions of the year on nights, this roster provides an excellent balance of time on-site and time off.
