Job summary

Ergo is seeking IT Field Engineers to join a team supporting multiple remote client sites in Ireland. The role involves installing and configuring IT hardware and software, ensuring devices are properly imageed and integrated into domains, and maintaining documentation.

Candidates should have a valid full driver’s license and own transport to travel between sites. Experience with VMware, CCTV systems, videoconferencing, and unified communications is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role - Field Support Engineer
• Full Clean Driver's license
• Own transport

Responsibilities

• Installing PCs / Laptops - configuring IP details, applying image and joining domain
• Support and configuration of Virtual Desktop Environment using VMware
• Support of digital radio mobile and antenna system
• Support of Control Rooms systems and services such as CCTV
• Support and configuration of desk based telephony systems, Video Conferencing and Unified Communications
• Network patching and support
• Installing and maintaining networked printers and scanners
• Produce technical documentation and knowledge base
