Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Sales Manager for the commercial vehicle and equipment rental sector. The role is field-based across Ireland, with autonomy to manage a portfolio of key accounts, pursue new business opportunities and drive growth in municipal and industrial segments.

You will build relationships with local authorities and commercial customers, negotiate long-term rental and service agreements, and collaborate with internal teams to maximise fleet utilisation and revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B field sales experience with a track record of new business development.
• Strong experience in managing key accounts and long-term rental or service agreements.
• Experience with local authorities or public sector tenders is advantageous.
• Good commercial awareness with ability to identify opportunities and grow revenue.
• Confident in negotiation and relationship building; self-motivated and target-driven.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial vehicle and equipment rental markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, authorities, and commercial customers.
• Promote short- and long-term rental solutions for municipal equipment and trucks/vans.
• Identify public sector opportunities and manage tenders and framework agreements.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic customers and grow existing accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximise fleet utilisation and support growth.
• Develop territory sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records, pipelines and forecasts.
