Job summary

UPS is seeking a facility coordinator for our Dublin site to manage asset protection, maintenance programs and safety compliance. You will oversee contractors, coordinate security measures, and drive continuous improvement across facilities and equipment in a busy logistics environment.

The role requires strong planning, communication and the ability to work independently across shifts. Permanent position based at our Dublin facility with opportunities to influence site operations.

Qualifications

• Technical background required.
• Proven experience in Facility maintenance activities.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to plan workload, set priorities and work independently.
• Normal MS Office skills required.
• Works in close harmony with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexible in time and place including out of hours.
• Understanding logistics compliance policies (HVAC controls and systems).
• Pragmatic problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Inspect entire facility and identify issues, take corrective action.
• Coordinate planned and preventive facility, equipment, and security maintenance and testing.
• Respond to urgent facility, equipment and security needs and resolve quickly.
• Serve as point of contact for facility inquiries at the site.
• Coordinate and escort internal and external parties for facility works.
• Monitor safety and calibration standards of warehouse equipment and MHE.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Participate in audits and follow up with management.
• Advise on and implement continuous process improvements.
• Create RFAs for purchasing and adhere to RFA procedure.
• Support cost control and OPEX budgeting for facility maintenance.
• Participate in facility infrastructure change projects.
• Maintain contact with Real Estate and Landlord for building fixes.
