The role suits an experienced transport professional with 3+ years in driver management, a strong focus on process, recruitment and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport operations or driver management.
• English language at C1 level or higher is required.
• Proven ability to manage driver performance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of professional drivers.
• Maintain a strong operational presence within the depot and wider operation.
• Lead driver recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Conduct driver reviews, investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Monitor driver performance, attendance and conduct.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company policies.
• Support driver retention and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with accident and incident investigations.
• Maintain accurate driver records and compliance documentation.
• Work closely with operational management to ensure service standards are achieved.
• Promote a positive safety and compliance culture throughout the business.
