Job summary

Sodexo Ltd seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Grangegorman. This hands-on, client-facing role manages the on-site hard and soft FM services, leading the site team, contractors, and maintenance programmes to ensure excellent service delivery and compliance with contractual requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement across the contract, coordinate reactive works, and manage budgets, records and safety processes while building strong client and stakeholder

Qualifications

• FM management or coordination experience.
• Experience managing hard and soft FM services.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience in a client-facing role.
• Strong financial and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• The ability to analyse information, make decisions and provide practical solutions.
• The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services.
• Lead, support and develop the on-site service delivery team.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and lifecycle programmes.
• Coordinate reactive works and ensure client requirements are delivered effectively.
• Scope and verify minor works.
• Manage the SSOW permitting system and promote safe working practices.
• Lead Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks and Near Miss reporting.
• Manage contractor engagement and site inductions.
• Act as the key operational point of contact for on-site issues.
• Manage materials ordering and maintain accurate contract and project records.
• Deliver allocated projects on time, within budget and to specification.
• Monitor remedial works, budgets and expenditure.
• Support continuous improvement, innovation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with clients, visitors, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and monitor operational deadlines and performance.
