Job summary

The Heritage in Laois is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. You will work across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, delivering the highest standard of service to our guests in a luxury hotel and spa.

You will handle till operations, mise en place, upsell beverages, and maintain a spotless workstation while promoting The Heritage's core values and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experienced bartender required.
• Availability to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Full-time hours year round.

Responsibilities

• Operate the till system.
• Maintain a clean and tidy station at all times.
• Carry-out mise en place for service, ensuring sufficiency for service standards.
• Polish and store crockery, cutlery and glassware to minimise breakages.
• Take orders and promote products to maximise sales.
• Promote a helpful and professional image to guests with a caring attitude.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance service quality.
• Assist colleagues as needed and be flexible around hotel operations.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and menu offerings.
• Handle guest complaints discretely, notifying the manager on duty.
