Job summary

Geely Auto UK is establishing a dedicated National Sales Company in Ireland. The role involves leading event planning, activations and experiential marketing to build a new national automotive brand in Ireland.

You will work with retailers, agencies and internal teams to ensure successful launches and engaging customer experiences. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in events/marketing, strong organisational skills, and a track record in corporate events, launches or related

• Strong understanding of event logistics and supplier coordination.
• Experience working with agencies, venues and suppliers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver retailer launches, media events, activations, exhibitions and corporate events in Ireland.
• Coordinate venue sourcing, supplier management, vehicle coordination, travel and on-site delivery.
• Manage event timelines, operational plans and delivery schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and post-event analysis.
• Support education and training initiatives related to events and activations.

Main Responsibilities

Event Planning & Delivery

• Support planning and delivery of retailer launches, media events, customer activations, exhibitions and corporate events across the Irish market.
• Coordinate event logistics including venue sourcing, supplier management, vehicle coordination, accommodation, travel and on-site operational delivery.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure successful event execution aligned with brand standards and business objectives.
• Support management of event timelines, operational plans and delivery schedules.
• Assist with setup, execution and breakdown activities during live events and launch programmes.

Band Activation & Customer Engagement

• Support delivery of locally relevant brand activation and experiential marketing activities.
• Coordinate customer engagement initiatives aligned with product launches, retailer activities and marketing campaigns.
• Support retailer participation within local events, exhibitions and promotional activities.
• Assist with management of event materials, POS assets, promotional items and customer-facing event collateral.
• Ensure event activity remains aligned with Geely Auto brand positioning and customer experience expectations.

Supplier & Agency Coordination

• Coordinate with event suppliers, production partners, venues and external agencies to support event delivery requirements.
• Support supplier briefing, operational coordination and delivery management activities.
• Assist with management of event budgets, supplier costs and operational expenditure tracking.
• Support identification and evaluation of new suppliers, venues and event opportunities where appropriate.

Operational Coordination & Reporting

• Maintain accurate event plans, operational schedules and activity tracking documentation.
• Support event reporting, attendance tracking and post-event analysis activities.
• Assist with ROI evaluation and performance assessment relating to events and activation activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve event effectiveness, operational delivery and customer engagement outcomes.

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Events, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience within events, experiential marketing, launches or related operational coordination roles.
• Experience supporting corporate events, customer activations or automotive launch activity advantageous.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, supplier coordination and operational planning activities.
• Experience working with agencies, venues and external suppliers beneficial.
• Strong organisational and project coordination capability.
• Comfortable operating within fast-paced and evolving business environments.
• Full driving licence preferred.
