Job summary

Geely Auto UK is establishing a dedicated National Sales Company in Ireland and seeks an automotive marketing professional to build a new national business from the ground up. You will collaborate with retailers, agencies, and the Ireland marketing team to execute local campaigns and activations.

The role focuses on retailer marketing standards, regional campaign deployment, events, and performance reporting, with opportunities to influence brand presence across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience within automotive retail marketing or dealer marketing.
• Strong understanding of retailer operations and local marketing activity in automotive sector.
• Experience supporting events, launches and customer activation activity advantageous.
• Experience working with agencies, suppliers and external partners beneficial.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media within retailer environments.
• Existing relationships within the Irish automotive retail sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

Retailer Marketing Support & Activation

• Support retailer partners with planning and execution of local marketing activity.
• Work closely with retailers to maximise local market awareness, lead generation and brand visibility.
• Assist retailers with implementation of launch campaigns, promotional activity, test drive events and local activations.
• Support retailer participation in exhibitions, events and community engagement activities.
• Conduct regular retailer visits to support local marketing effectiveness and operational alignment.

Brand Standards & Retailer Compliance

• Support implementation and monitoring of retailer brand standards across customer-facing activities.
• Ensure retailer marketing activity remains aligned with Geely Auto brand guidelines and campaign direction.
• Monitor retailer digital presence, website activity and social media alignment where required.
• Support retailer showroom readiness and launch presentation standards.

Campaign Coordination & Agency Management

• Work collaboratively with the Ireland marketing team and external agencies to support local campaign execution.
• Coordinate retailer access to campaign materials, POS assets and marketing toolkits.
• Support the local adaptation and deployment of national and regional campaigns within the retailer network.
• Assist with management of local supplier and agency relationships where required.

Retailer Performance & Reporting

• Support tracking and reporting of retailer marketing activity and campaign effectiveness.
• Assist with retailer KPI monitoring and performance reporting.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to support continuous improvement across retailer marketing operations.
• Support management of retailer marketing programmes and related administrative processes.

Events & Customer Experience

• Support planning and delivery of retailer launch events, customer experiences and local promotional activities.
• Assist with event logistics, vehicle coordination and operational execution.
• Support customer engagement initiatives aligned with retailer and brand objectives.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience within automotive retail marketing, dealer marketing or related field-based commercial roles.
• Strong understanding of retailer operations and local marketing activity within the automotive sector.
• Experience supporting events, launches and customer activation activity advantageous.
• Experience working with agencies, suppliers and external partners beneficial.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media within retailer environments.
• Existing relationships within the Irish automotive retail sector advantageous.
