Job summary

Geely Auto UK is creating a dedicated National Sales Company in Ireland and seeks an ambitious Sales Operations Manager to help build the business from the ground up.

You will work with the Sales Director and leadership to drive forecasting, retailer performance, and operational governance in a fast-paced automotive launch environment.

The role offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial setting with exposure to regional projects and career development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
  • Experience in automotive sales operations, commercial analysis, or retailer performance environments.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, sales planning and operational reporting activities.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, KPI reporting and commercial analysis activities.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience handling large datasets and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Operations Manager – Ireland will be responsible for supporting the operational effectiveness, planning, reporting and performance management activities of the Ireland sales function.
  • Working closely with the Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager and wider Ireland leadership team, the role will support sales forecasting, retailer performance analysis, operational reporting and commercial planning activities across the Irish market.
  • This is a commercially focused and analytically driven role responsible for helping establish scalable sales processes, operational governance and performance visibility within a fast-paced automotive launch environment.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business planning, retailer performance management and data-driven decision making as Geely Auto Ireland establishes and grows its retailer network and market presence.

Main Responsibilities
  • The Sales Operations Manager – Ireland will be responsible for supporting the operational effectiveness, planning, reporting and performance management activities of the Ireland sales function.

Main Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience within automotive sales operations, commercial analysis, business planning or retailer performance environments.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, sales planning and operational reporting activities.
  • Experience working within automotive OEM, distributor or retailer organisations advantageous.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, KPI reporting and commercial analysis activities beneficial.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience handling large datasets and operational reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience working with reporting systems, CRM tools or operational platforms advantageous.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience within automotive sales, dealer operations or regional sales management roles.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retailer operations and sales processes.
  • Experience working within automotive OEM, distributor or retailer environments advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience managing retailer relationships and supporting sales target achievement.
  • Experience analysing sales performance data and supporting commercial improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience and retailer operational standards.
  • Existing relationships within the Irish automotive retail sector advantageous.
  • Comfortable operating within fast-paced and evolving business environments.
