Job summary

Crossley Scott is seeking an experienced EV Technical Support Professional to help maintain Ireland’s EV charging infrastructure. The role combines EV charging hardware, software platforms, networking and customer support, focusing on diagnosing issues, supporting customers and field teams, and monitoring the live network.

You will deliver 1st/2nd line support, handle tickets and RMAs, perform site visits, provide remote troubleshooting, and collaborate with engineering, product and suppliers to

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ experience in technical/customer support, ideally in EV charging, IoT, telecoms or related sector.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT or related technical discipline.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zoho or HubSpot.
• Knowledge of EV charging standards (OCPP, CCS, CHAdeMO) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for EV charging equipment and related software platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve charger, connectivity and user-access issues.
• Monitor live charging networks, alerts and equipment performance.
• Manage technical support tickets, supplier tickets and RMAs.
• Carry out site visits, equipment setup and fault repairs as required.
• Support customers remotely with troubleshooting and corrective procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, suppliers and field-service teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain stock and equipment inventories; support onboarding and training.
• Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base; meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Participate in on-call rota when required.
