Job summary

EZO EV Charging is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead the pre-sales function for EV charging and energy solutions across Ireland and the UK. You will bridge technical solutions with customer needs, guiding design and proposal work from discovery through to close.

You will work with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure feasible, differentiated, and commercially viable EV infrastructure solutions for large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in EV, energy, infrastructure, or technical pre-sales.
• 5–10+ years in EV, energy, infrastructure, or technical pre-sales.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Engage with fleet operators, councils, developers, and commercial clients to understand EV charging requirements.
• Translate customer needs into tailored EV infrastructure solutions (hardware, software, grid, installation).
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and site feasibility assessments.
• Design end-to-end solutions including charger selection (AC/DC, ultra-fast) and energy management.
• Own the technical response for RFPs / tenders and coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders.
