WR Logistics in Dublin is seeking a European Road Freight BDM to win new business across Ireland and Europe, leveraging an established operational base to deliver profitable freight solutions.

The role offers hybrid working, a base salary around €50,000-€60,000 with commission, and an opportunity to build a regional sales pipeline.

You will target importers, exporters, manufacturers and distributors, negotiating rates and developing long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proactive in identifying prospects and converting opportunities.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transport sales.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish freight and logistics market.
• Established network across Irish importers, exporters, manufacturers or distributors.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage your own pipeline and sales activity.
• Commercial mindset focused on profitability.

Responsabilités

• Generate new business opportunities across the Irish freight and logistics market.
• Identify and target potential customers across importing, exporting, manufacturing and distribution.
• Build and manage your own sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings.
• Negotiate rates and terms to secure profitable business.
• Work closely with operations and customer-service teams to ensure a high level of service.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and maximise account potential.
