Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales across the EMEA region from a remote Ireland base. You will lead technical engagements, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and design data architecture solutions for large organizations.

Essentially, you will own PoCs, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and enable sales through deep technical credibility. Strong data warehousing and cloud familiarity are required, along with excellent communication

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a pre-sales or sales engineering capacity within data or SaaS sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT methodologies, and cloud infrastructure technologies.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical information to technical and business leaders.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise implementations and familiarity with data governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account executives to oversee technical dimensions of the sales process for enterprise clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical sessions for diverse data environments.
• Develop customized data architecture solutions focusing on security, governance, and scalability.
• Support prospects during proof of concept stages and showcase platform advantages.
• Coordinate with product and engineering teams to share customer insights and feedback.
