Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Manager to lead and grow the Customer Solutions Architect function within the Field Engineering team in EMEA. You will manage a team responsible for post‑onboarding technical ownership of strategic customers, from initial engagement through ongoing adoption and revenue growth.

This role is remote out of Ireland, with travel optional. You will report to the EMEA Director of CSA and collaborate with a leadership team including a Principal CSA to mature the function globally.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in post‑sales technical roles (CSA, TAM, Delivery)
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to tie engagement to measurable outcomes (iARR, NRR, GRR)
• Technical familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data stack tooling (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, dbt)
• Experience managing senior, tenured technical ICs and coaching
• Stakeholder management with cross‑functional peers and senior customers
• Data‑native management style using data/AI tooling to inform decisions
• Cross‑regional adaptability across EMEA
• Analytical mindset with metric‑driven decision making
• Adaptability and growth orientation in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Senior/Lead Customer Solutions Architects across NEMEA, DACH, France/Benelux.
• Own expansion and retention outcomes with metrics like ARR, iARR, NRR, GRR.
• Develop and mature the CSA function and operational discipline.
• Align CSA motion with regional GTM priorities with Sales and Solutions Engineering leadership.
• Oversee portfolio planning, CSA/AE pairings, and territory coverage.
• Provide coaching and career development plans for CSA staff.
• Cultivate an AI/data‑driven stack supporting proactive, data‑first book view.
• Collaborate with partners and GTM stakeholders for cross‑portfolio expansion.
• Identify attrition risks and plan mitigation with stakeholders.
