Job summary

Fivetran in Dublin is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Commercial sales team. You will translate complex data replication solutions into customer value, guide technical evaluations, and drive the proof‑of‑value process with commercial customers.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, present to technical and non‑technical audiences, and stay current with cloud data platforms and analytics trends. This role blends deep technical execution with strategic customer engagement.

Qualifications

4+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related technical field.
Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies.
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

Work with commercial customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements.
Develop and deliver technical presentations to commercial audiences.
Ensure the technical win by running an organized proof‑of‑value process.
Collaborate with sales representatives while maintaining customer focus and technical excellence.
Stay up‑to‑date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Assist team members in advanced technical or business roadblocks.
