Job summary

Sterling Engineering Ltd - Ireland & Europe is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop the engineering team while driving performance and delivery of objectives aligned with business goals.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, champion continuous improvement, and ensure quality and safety standards. The role offers growth in a growing engineering environment across Ireland and Europe. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Polymer or Mechanical preferred).
• 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• Proven people management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Manage engineering priorities, resources, and project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, OEE, and process optimisation.
• Support preventative maintenance and operational excellence activities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and other departments.
• Drive effective problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions through the QMS.

Qualifications & Experience
