Job summary

Cpl in Ringaskiddy, Cork, is seeking an experienced HR Services/Engagement Coordinator for a multinational client. This 12‑month contract offers a hybrid arrangement (3 days on site) and standard Mon–Fri hours.

You will be the on‑site HR point of contact, build an HR Helpdesk, support managers with queries, update policies, and ensure processes align with legislation and the organisation's culture.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years HR experience in a multinational setting.
• Working knowledge of legislation and employment law.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across teams.
• Experience with HR systems and data reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the onsite HR point of contact/representative for the HR function.
• Create, promote and develop an onsite HR Helpdesk function.
• Support team leads and managers with HR queries (e.g., benefits, entitlements).
• Provide hands-on HR support and guidance on site and escalate when needed.
• Review, update and maintain HR policies to stay compliant with current legislation.

Cpl are currently hiring a HR Services/Engagement Coordinator, to support our Multinational Pharmaceutical Client in Ringaskiddy, Cork. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly experienced HR professional with an extensive multinational background. This is a new role for the business. This presents the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to leverage their background and expertise to create and develop the position, making it their own.

Duration: 12 months

Hybrid: 3 days onsite

Hours: Mon to Fri

Salary: €60,000 to €70,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Act as the onsite Point of Contact/Representative for the HR Function
• Create, promote and develop an onsite HR Helpdesk Function to ensure employees in all departments and levels have equal, easy and engaging support from HR
• Support Teams Leads, Line Managers etc. with HR queries. (i.e Sick Pay, Benefits, Employee Relations, Statutory Entitlements etc.)
• Provide hands‑on HR support and guidance to staff on site (1:1 or as teams), escalating when necessary
• Review, update and maintain HR policies for the site, ensuring they are in line with the most up‑to‑date legislation
• Gain a keen understanding of the processes, reporting structure and culture of the organisation

Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years, Mid to Senior level, HR experience with a large Multinational essential
• A working knowledge of Legislation, Policy and Employment Law required
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across a wide variety of people
• Experience in utilising internal HR systems beneficial
• Familiarity with reporting, data tracking etc. beneficial
