Job summary

Hero Recruitment and our client, a leading medical device manufacturer in Galway, are seeking an experienced HR Manager / Senior HR Business Partner to lead the HR function on-site. This hands-on leadership role reports into global HR with genuine influence over people strategy, culture and organisational effectiveness.

You will act as the lead HR partner to the Site Leadership Team, drive workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and the annual performance cycle, plus lead

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' progressive HR experience, including HRBP or HR leadership.
• Manufacturing/medical device/engineering environment experience is a strong advantage.
• Broad HR generalist skills with strategic and detail orientation.
• Global or cross-cultural HR experience is a plus, especially Asia or US.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR compliance.
• Level 8 degree minimum; CIPD and/or Master's preferred.

About You

• Global or cross-cultural HR experience is a plus, particularly exposure to Asia or the US.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR compliance.
