Brightwater Recruitment in Dublin is seeking an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner to join a progressive and creative organisation with an international footprint across Ireland and the UK. The role is broad and hands-on, partnering with managers and employees and taking ownership of day-to-day HR activity.

You will lead a team, support employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, manage HRIS data and payroll liaison, and ensure policy compliance while building

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a progressive and creative organisation with an international footprint across Ireland and the UK.

This is a broad, hands-on HR role suited to a strong HR Generalist or HR Business Partner who enjoys being close to the business, supporting managers and employees, and taking ownership of day-to-day HR activity.

The successful candidate will have experience managing a teamand will be comfortable balancing people management with hands-on HR delivery. This role would suit an experienced HR Generalist, HRBP or HR Manager who is looking for a varied position with genuine responsibility and stakeholder exposure.

Dublin City | Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week onsite | Permanent

The Role

You will provide day-to-day HR support, partnering with managers and employees across the business while ensuring HR processes and operations are delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing hands-on HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Acting as a trusted HR partner to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Managing and supporting a team, providing direction, coaching and development.
  • Supporting employee relations matters, including performance management, absence, grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Managing and continuously improving HR processes, policies and procedures.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Using HR data and reporting to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Supporting payroll processes and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring HR practices are compliant with relevant employment legislation and company policies.
  • Building strong relationships with managers and helping to develop their confidence and capability in people management.
  • Supporting employee engagement and wider people initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and the overall employee experience.
  • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required.
About You

We are looking for a strong, hands-on HR Generalist or HR Business Partner who enjoys working across a broad range of HR activities.

You will ideally have:
  • Solid experience in a HR Generalist, HRBP or HR Manager position.
  • Previous experience managing a team – this is a prerequisite.
  • Strong experience across the employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR.
  • Good employee relations experience and confidence advising managers on HR matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good HRIS experience and confidence working with HR systems and data.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and willingness to get involved at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion and integrity.
