Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering/Management.
• 7+ years in Environment/sustainability experience.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of the site’s Environmental Management System to meet ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14068 and AWS standards.
• Review and update environmental risk assessments regularly.

## Energy & Sustainability ManagerApply: Ireland - Ballina: Full time: Posted Today: R-140742**Job Description Summary:**As a key member of the Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) Team, the Energy & Sustainability Manager will lead the development and execution of the site’s sustainability and environmental strategy in partnership with plant leadership.This exciting role will focus on driving measurable improvements in sustainability performance by setting clear priorities, applying technical expertise, and implementing high-impact initiatives aligned with the organisation’s sustainability vision. The Manager will ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability standards, while integrating sustainability goals into operational decision-making.Responsibilities include designing, coordinating and implementing environmental / sustainability programs that meet regulatory obligations and company policies.
