Job summary

CPL in Galway seeks an experienced Projects & Sustainability Manager to drive strategic projects, sustainability leadership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the business.

You will lead CAPEX and cross-functional initiatives with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Health & Safety teams, champion waste reduction and environmental compliance, and contribute to long-term sustainability objectives from Galway.

• Oversee CAPEX projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Technical, and Health & Safety teams.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and environmental awareness.
• Deliver training and guidance on sustainability best practices.
• Support compliance with environmental standards, legislation, and certification requirements.
• Drive waste reduction, process optimisation, and productivity improvements.

I am currently partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation in Galway that is seeking an experienced Projects & Sustainability Manager to join its team. This is a high-impact role that combines project management, sustainability leadership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead key business projects while driving environmental initiatives and supporting long-term sustainability goals across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience managing supplier and contractor relationships.
