Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in HV cable design to join its growing Energy team in Ireland. You will work on HVDC interconnectors, wind, substations and grid connections across Ireland, guiding design from FEED through detailed design.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers and address technical challenges to support Ireland’s energy transition within a supportive, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience in transmission and distribution projects with HV experience preferred.
• Membership of EI is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver HV cable systems across FEED to Detailed Design.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure practical, innovative solutions.
• Support and lead design activities for HV projects across Ireland.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet project goals.
