Job summary

Praxis Care, Balreask Navan, is seeking a Support Worker to join a dedicated team. The role supports individuals in developing independent living and personal care skills, working with team leaders to tailor plans and ensure safe living environments.

Flexibility for varied patterns (full-time, part-time, relief) is available, with sleep-in allowances where required. Essential candidates will have numeracy/literacy, strong communication, and a driving license.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Work with Team Leaders and managers to implement individual and group support programmes.
• Collaborate with other Support Workers to promote a safe environment and resolve conflicts using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered per policy where necessary.
• Record and log information in accordance with reporting guidelines.
• Be aware of Health & Safety policies and participate in related training.
