Job summary

Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company founded in 2015, seeks a Security Operations Center leader to drive scalable, efficient operations. You will oversee global analysts, streamline processes, and design training across Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Automation.

This role emphasizes 24/7 coverage, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic growth within a high‑impact SOC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24×7 SOC with focus on Windows forensics.
• 2+ years in team lead or managerial roles in a global SOC/IR setting.
• Active involvement in the information security community.
• Ongoing learning of threat actor tradecraft and SOC concepts.
• Ability to diagram workflows and create operating procedures.
• Strong communication with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• Data-driven approach with familiarity in data science concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and streamline SOC processes, workflows, and playbooks.
• Manage 24/7 shift coverage across a global operations set.
• Hold weekly 1:1s with analysts to discuss focus initiatives and career growth.
• Lead training programs in Digital Forensics, IR, Malware Analysis, TH and Automation.
• Collaborate with Product to prioritize new capabilities for analysts.
• Ensure routine QA for the designated region.
• Coordinate with Support to streamline SOC requests.
• Partner with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting and Detection Engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership to SOC analysts and align with Huntress mission.
• Contribute input to Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product.
• Develop, track, and report OKRs for SOC focus initiatives.
• Operationalize new technologies and services from Huntress.
• Participate in public speaking engagements (webinars and in-person).
