MarketStar in Dublin is seeking a Sales Team Leader to launch and scale a new EMEA team, partnering with Mailchimp. You will develop and close inbound and outbound opportunities, leading and coaching a talented group to hit client and MarketStar targets.

The right candidate is tech‑savvy, thrives in a fast‑paced setting, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking in a multi‑territory context.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in managing or coaching sales reps in the technology sector.
• Experience with full sales cycle or developing new business through prospecting.
• Thrives in a high-energy environment and proactively solves problems.
• Excellent presentation, listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a hands-on approach while adjusting to client demands and strategies.
• Coach and mentor a team of sales agents across multiple disciplines toward targets and KPIs.
• Develop understanding of client offerings to support the team across EMEA territories.
• Improve team effectiveness by creating new systems, structures, and processes.
• Foster a culture of focus, teamwork and outstanding performance.
• Lead thought leadership within a wider sales team.
• Align with client goals and own day-to-day operations with client contact.
• Oversee scheduling, attendance, time-card approvals and performance evaluations.
