Job summary

MarketStar is seeking a hands-on Team Leader (1-Year Fixed Term Contract) to build and scale a new EMEA sales team in collaboration with Mailchimp. You will coach sales agents, drive inbound/outbound strategies, and align activities with client and MarketStar goals.

You will lead by example in a high-energy environment, mentoring staff, developing processes, and ensuring performance against targets across multiple territories. Hybrid work in Dublin is available.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• 2+ years of experience managing or coaching sales reps in the technology sector.
• Experience managing full sales cycle or developing new business through prospecting.
• Excellent presentation, listening, and communication skills.
• Clear and thoughtful communicator with strong critical thinking.
• Ability to contribute to building new processes and systems.
• Ability to streamline workflows to increase team effectiveness.
• Customer-oriented with the ability to motivate others and drive standards of excellence.
• Self-reliant, adaptable and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Familiar with Salesforce and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of sales agents across multiple disciplines to meet targets and KPIs.
• Develop deep understanding of client offerings to enable the team across EMEA regions.
• Continuously improve team effectiveness through new systems, structures and processes.
• Foster a culture of focus, teamwork and high performance.
• Drive thought leadership within the wider sales team and align with client goals.
• Own day-to-day operations in partnership with the client.
• Manage performance, scheduling and attendance, time-card approvals and evaluations.
