Job summary

Bentley Systems in Ireland is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for EMEA, with emphasis on Western Europe. You’ll partner with local providers and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and discretion handling confidential data. Hybrid work arrangement with potential for growth within the Payroll function.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting payroll across EMEA, especially Western Europe.
• Familiarity with country-specific payroll rules and external providers.
• Detail-oriented with ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Strong communication and collaboration across countries and teams.
• Discretion handling confidential employee information.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll delivery for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with local payroll providers and ensure service levels.
• Manage payroll calendars, inputs, approvals, and documentation.
• Prepare, validate, and submit payroll changes (new hires, terminations, bonuses, deductions).
• Review calculations, registers, reports, and variance analyses for accuracy.
• Reconcile payroll results with HR/Finance data and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure country-specific filings, payments, and reporting are completed on time.
• Maintain procedures, calendars, contacts, and documentation.
• Share knowledge and provide backup support across countries.
