Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for EMEA with a focus on Western Europe. You will coordinate with local providers, ensure timely and accurate payrolls, and work across HR, Finance, and Tax to resolve issues and improve processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration across countries, handling confidential information, and maintaining compliant payroll operations in a hybrid work setting (Ireland and Western Europe).

Qualifications

• Experience supporting payroll across EMEA and Western Europe.
• Familiarity with country-specific payroll requirements and external providers.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Effective communication and collaboration across countries and teams.
• High discretion when handling confidential employee information.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll delivery for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for local payroll providers and manage SLAs.
• Manage payroll calendars, deadlines, inputs, approvals and documentation.
• Prepare and submit payroll changes including hires, terminations, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review calculations, registers, reports and variance analyses for correctness.
• Reconcile payroll results with HR, Finance and source data; resolve variances.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Tax, Treasury and other teams on payroll matters.
• Ensure country-specific filings, payments and reporting are completed on time.
• Coordinate off-cycle payments, year-end activities and audits.
• Maintain country procedures, calendars and escalation paths.
