Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll delivery for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for local payroll providers and manage SLAs.
• Manage payroll calendars, deadlines, inputs, approvals and documentation.
• Prepare and submit payroll changes including hires, terminations, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review calculations, registers, reports and variance analyses for correctness.
• Reconcile payroll results with HR, Finance and source data; resolve variances.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Tax, Treasury and other teams on payroll matters.
• Ensure country-specific filings, payments and reporting are completed on time.
• Coordinate off-cycle payments, year-end activities and audits.
• Maintain country procedures, calendars and escalation paths.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned countries across EMEA, with a focus on Western Europe. You’ll work closely with local payroll providers and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll, resolve issues, and continually improve processes.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end payroll delivery for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

• Serve as the day-to-day contact for local payroll providers and hold them accountable for agreed service levels, accuracy, and issue resolution.

• Manage payroll calendars, deadlines, inputs, approvals, and supporting documentation.

• Prepare, validate, and submit payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, deductions, benefits, leave, and other adjustments.

• Review payroll calculations, registers, reports, and variance analyses for accuracy and completeness.

• Reconcile payroll results against HR, Finance, and other relevant source data; investigate and resolve discrepancies and significant variances.

• Partner with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll errors and employee-impacting issues.

• Work with providers to ensure country-specific statutory filings, payments, and reporting are completed on time.

• Coordinate off-cycle payments, corrections, year-end activities, audits, and other local payroll requirements.

• Maintain country-specific procedures, calendars, provider contacts, escalation paths, and process documentation.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, Compensation, Equity, Tax, Treasury, and other teams on payroll matters.

• Track recurring provider issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, reporting, and provider performance.

• Maintain appropriate controls, approvals, audit trails, and confidential employee records.

• Share knowledge and provide backup support across assigned countries to help ensure continuity of payroll operations.
