Job summary

Bentley Systems in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to lead end-to-end payroll operations across the EMEA entities. You will ensure compliance with statutory regulations and drive payroll system enhancements while mentoring junior colleagues.

You will own complex payrolls, manage calendars, review inputs, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and providers to ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery and strong controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience in EMEA multi-country payroll.
• Senior-level experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
• Experience with Workday or Dayforce is strongly preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and complex data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Own complex and/or high-volume country payrolls end-to-end across the EMEA entities.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues and payroll specialists.
• Manage payroll calendars, deadlines, inputs, approvals, and documentation.
• Review inputs including hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, deductions, and leaves.
• Escalate and resolve complex payroll issues with providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure statutory filings and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
