Job summary

PE Global (UK) seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll across 3–4 EMEA entities from Ireland, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Work with Workday, SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft; collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal to streamline processes and resolve data issues; address employee pay questions with clarity and technical accuracy.

A Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required, with 5+ years of payroll experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or another respective field (5+ years experience may substitute)
• Experience processing payroll in medium to large organizations
• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-through
• Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well within tight deadlines
• Collaborative team player; cross-functional teamwork
• Prior experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Calculate and ensure timely processing of payments for in-country taxes, pensions, and health insurance premiums.
• Coordinate with Finance/Treasury to ensure payroll funding is approved and dispersed on local deadlines.
• Audit payroll reports for compliance with local labor laws and internal controls.
• Perform GTN reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to streamline workflows and resolve data issues.
• Respond to employee queries with clear, technical explanations for pay/tax questions.
• Manage monthly processing for 3–4 EMEA entities.
• Audit data changes in Workday before vendor submission.
• Execute mass data uploads for variable pay, commissions, and bonuses.
