Job summary

CBRE is seeking an EMEA Projects Estimator to support the Data Centre Solutions team across Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing tender costings, take-offs, sub-contract and materials inquiries, and post-tender negotiations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QS/Estimating within construction and 2+ years in the data centre sector, with a Mechanical/Electrical background and willingness to travel Europe.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Quantity Surveying/Estimating in construction.
• At least 2 years in the data centre sector.
• Degree-level qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical fields.
• Ability to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information for tender.
• Take-off quantities.
• Prepare and issue sub-contract and material supply enquiries with quotations analysis.
• Assist in the analysis of net tender package returns and sub-contractor analysis for adjudication.
• Assist in analysis of package requirements for fixed price and contingency additions.
• Produce documents for tender settlement with net costings highlighting risk and opportunity.
• Upload tender information onto PDS System and attend Justification & Approval meetings.
• Complete client pricing documents including Form of Tender and prelims breakdown.
• Lead post-tender negotiations.
