Job summary

Circet Ireland is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Technical Estimator to lead technical and commercial aspects of data centre bids, delivering compliant, competitive solutions across passive infrastructure. You will generate accurate BOMs and labour estimates and coordinate with operations and sales.

The role focuses on multi-million‑euro opportunities, mentoring junior team members, and presenting to clients while ensuring deadlines and standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales/estimating roles within the industry.
• Experience delivering high-value, multi-million euro opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of data centre passive infrastructure and vendors.
• Excellent cost modelling and risk management skills.
• Ability to present to clients and manage multiple opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bid opportunities through the full pre-sales lifecycle.
• Act as the technical authority for data centre passive infrastructure during the bid phase.
• Provide mentoring and technical support to junior pre-sales team members.
• Receive, review, and manage client RFQs, specs, drawings, and docs.
• Coordinate internal bid activities for high-quality client deliverables.
• Assess new or revised client docs and evaluate impacts on scope, design, risk and cost.
• Manage and control quote revisions in response to design changes.
• Interpret layout drawings and produce BOMs and labour cost estimates.
• Develop project cost models to support final bid submissions.
• Ensure all solutions comply with client specs and commercial requirements.
• Engage with clients to present solutions and support discussions.
