Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of building regulations and standards
• Ability to manage estimating processes to deadlines
• Strong IT skills, with CostX or Buildsoft
• Ability to work in a team across departments

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to assess viability
• Prepare cost estimates for labour, materials, plant and equipment
• Issue and evaluate enquiries and quotations
• Manage estimating systems and project preliminaries
• Consolidate final tender submissions for management approval
• Support post-tender activities and procurement coordination
