Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a bubbly, enthusiastic programme assistant to join our friendly team. We provide Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs at local schools, offering engaging activities and a supportive environment for children.

Hours are 7:45-8:45am and 13:40-18:00pm Monday-Friday; Garda vetting and references are required. This role is onsite at partner schools across the Cork area.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor).
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
