Job summary

Sherpa Kids is hiring in Ireland to run Before School, After School, and Holiday Club programmes at schools, delivering fun, structured activities and a safe, inclusive environment.

You will supervise children during activities, help with homework, and lead indoor and outdoor games with energy and enthusiasm. Garda vetting occurs after interview; references required. Shifts run 07:45-09:00 and 13:40-18:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed after interview)
• At least 2 written references before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) daily
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
