Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland operates on-site at schools offering Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs designed for national-aged children. Programs emphasize fun, structured daily activities and a safe, inclusive environment, with a focus on supporting families across Ireland.

Hours vary with shifts 8.00-9.00 and 14.00-18.00, Monday to Friday, and Garda vetting plus two references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
