Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland operates Before School, After School and Holiday Clubs on-site at schools, delivering engaging daily activities for school-aged children. The role runs 3:00-6:30pm, part-time, with a strong emphasis on safety, inclusion and positive impact for families.

Candidates must have at least 1 year experience with children, be proficient in English, and be prepared for Garda vetting and references checks before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
