Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking staff in Ireland for Before School, After School and Holiday Club programmes, operating on-site at schools in Dublin West (Leixlip). The role offers mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday, with a focus on safe, engaging activities for school-aged children and supportive homework help.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year with children, strong English skills, and Garda vetting. References are required before starting.

Qualifications

Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
Basic knowledge of child development.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

Supervise children during activities and free play.
Assist with homework and educational tasks.
Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
